Wade depth and ground clearance
Wades right in
When it comes to the Ford Ranger, the numbers speak for themselves. It has a ground clearance of 237mm and effortlessly wades through water up to 800mm deep. (Maintaining a steady speed of not more than 4 Mph./hr.)
Xenon headlights
Ultra-bright, low-energy
Xenon headlights with non-adaptive lighting change the headlamp beam pattern automatically to apply the best light distribution for the conditions. This ensures the most effective illumination pattern is produced automatically for any given situation, from motorways to country lanes. There’s also an auto dip function, which automatically dips the high-beams when an oncoming vehicle is detected.
4WD drive
Tackle any terrain
The Ford Ranger lets you switch between 4WD and 2WD systems on the fly. When you cruising comfortably on smooth roads you can keep the vehicle in 2WD but as soon as the conditions deteriorate or you want to go off-road, you can effortlessly change to 4WD.

SYNC 3
Crafted in comfort
Ford SYNC 3 is a state-of-the-art system that enables you to stay connected and control your phone, music and navigation system with natural voice commands, and even reads out your text messages. You can also use a colour touchscreen with pinch-and-swipe gestures for more intuitive navigation. The technology connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto too, and with AppLink, you can access some of your favourite smartphone apps. You can even call up a list of local restaurants just by saying “I’m hungry”.
Storage
Handy stowage space
Every cab style has plenty of ingenious storage. The Double Cab, for example, has two large, under‐seat storage areas in the rear. There are three centre consoles, depending on the type of cab you choose. These contain storage bins suitable for food, cup and bottle holders, trays for small items and space for your mobile. The glove box can hold a 15” laptop, compact umbrella and more.
